A former reality television star has been arrested after allegedly attacking a woman with a sock filled with rocks at a Walmart in Nashville. Diamond Tankard, 21, is accused of striking a shopper in the face with the weapon before stealing her mobile phone and designer handbag.
The incident occurred on Friday at the Walmart Supercenter on Hamilton Church Road. Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department found the victim with a laceration above her left eye. Tankard, who appeared on Bravo's Thicker Than Water in 2013, faces charges of aggravated assault and property theft using a deadly weapon.
According to the victim's grandmother, Tankard grabbed the woman from behind and pulled her hair before using the rock-filled sock to strike her in the face. The suspect is also accused of stealing the victim's $1,500 iPhone 14 and a $900 Louis Vuitton handbag. Walmart provided authorities with security footage of the altercation.
Tankard was released from jail on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
