Princess Andre, 18, Opens Up on Split and NTA Hopes for 'The Princess Diaries'
Princess Andre on Love Life Split and Reality Show Ambitions

In a candid new interview, Princess Andre has given fans an update on her personal life and professional ambitions, confirming her relationship status and making a bold claim about her reality television series.

Love Life Takes a Backseat to Burgeoning Career

The 18-year-old daughter of celebrities Katie Price and Peter Andre has revealed she is currently single after parting ways with her boyfriend of two years. Princess, who chose to keep the identity of her former partner private, suggested her demanding schedule was a key factor in the split, leaving 'no place for a man' at this time.

While she declared she was 'in love' last year, reports emerged in May that the pair had 'grown apart'. Speaking to The Sun, Princess confirmed she is now channelling her energy into her work but remains open to the possibility of romance. She stated that any future relationship would likely be documented on her ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries.

'I'm just working hard, living my life, enjoying what I'm doing and if I naturally meet someone, then I'm sure it'll be on the show,' she explained. 'I always think will I meet someone in the industry, but it's hard to know and I haven't really given it much thought.'

Pushing for National Television Awards Recognition

Beyond her personal life, Princess was vocal about the success of her tell-all reality programme, which has recently been renewed for two more series. She expressed strong hopes that the show will earn a nomination at the prestigious National Television Awards (NTAs).

Striking a balance between humility and ambition, Princess said: 'I'm never cocky to the point where I'm like, "yeah I'll win an NTA," I'm very humble with it - but I obviously hope it does get at least a nomination.'

Family Dynamics Shift Behind the Scenes

This professional focus comes amid significant changes to the show's format and cast. It was recently revealed that Princess's father, singer Peter Andre, 52, and his wife, Emily, 36, have pulled out from the second season following backlash from her mother, Katie Price.

Insiders indicated the decision was made to quell the 'noise' after Katie, 47, publicly criticised her exclusion from the first series, claiming she was considered 'trash' by Peter's team. A source close to the family revealed the move was intended to let the show focus solely on Princess now she is an adult.

'Pete and Emily will not feature in The Princess Diaries seasons two and three,' the source said. 'It was discussed between him and Princess, and they decided as a family that it's better for the show to focus on Princess alone... No one wants Princess to feel caught between her two parents.'

While producers are said to have 'loved' having Peter and Emily on screen, the aim is now for the upcoming series to be 'all about Princess'. Her brother, Junior Andre, 20, will continue to appear. Filming will follow her on international business trips and to a 'big beauty gig' in Liverpool.

With her love life on hold and her family stepping back from the spotlight, Princess Andre is firmly positioning herself at the centre of her own narrative, determined to build her career and earn recognition in the competitive world of reality television.
