Channel 5's popular true crime documentary series, Police Interceptors, is set to air the final episode of its special instalment, Police Interceptors: Taking Down the Shoplifting Gangs, tonight at 9pm.
The four-part spin-off series, which began last month, follows Lancashire police officers as they target shoplifting gangs and organised crime groups responsible for stealing substantial sums from supermarkets across the UK.
Tonight's episode promises to focus on a man linked to organised crime, possibly connected to £78,000 in thefts, as police forces unite to tackle UK-wide shop thefts.
Lancashire Police shared on social media that the series is part of Operation Vulture, a campaign targeting shoplifters, with cameras following officers over several weeks to bring offenders to justice.
Fans have expressed excitement for the finale, with one viewer saying they 'couldn't wait' and another stating, 'I'll be watching never miss.' The regular Police Interceptors series will return next Monday, March 23, at 9pm with new episodes for its 25th season.
