Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy to star in new reality series

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy are set to star in their own reality series, The Crouches, following in the footsteps of Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney. The couple has teamed up with Prime Video, the platform behind That Peter Crouch Film, for the new show.

The series will follow Peter, 45, and Abbey, 40, as they allow cameras into their family home for a year to document the chaos. It is expected to launch on Prime Video in 2027.

Peter Crouch on the new series

Speaking about the project, Peter said: "We're so excited about our new series with Prime Video." He added: "I absolutely loved making That Peter Crouch Film, so much so that this time I've somehow managed to drag Abbey and the whole family into it!"

However, the star shared his reservations, explaining: "It's a bit scary as it's warts and all, but I'm sure you enjoy laughing with us (probably at us)." He added, "There will be a lot of chaos and probably a few moments we'll regret letting the cameras see, some ups and some downs, but it will be us."

The star joked: "Our life should be lovely, calm, and simple… it is not. Watch out, Kardashians, we are coming for you."

What to expect from The Crouches

Giving fans a glimpse of what to expect, the series will kick off with the family preparing for a big move. They will be selling their beloved home, which they made from scratch and comes with eight-foot doors, and embarking on a new renovation project.

Things will be far from simple as Pete heads off to America for the World Cup for his podcast and TV series. Meanwhile, Abbey will be left to juggle their four children, Sophia, Ruby, Liberty Rose, Johnny, and Jack, and their pets in the middle of a building site.

The show will also see Abbey and Pete preparing for some of their children to leave the nest. Abbey marks her big 40th birthday as the couple deals with shifting priorities and changing roles. She will now make some of her goals a priority after stepping back to support her husband's career.

Previous collaborations

This isn't the first time Pete and Abbey have worked together; they already have a successful podcast called The Therapy Crouch, which explores all their trials and tribulations as they navigate their complex relationship. Their new Prime Video series seems to give fans an even more in-depth look at their relationship.

Pete and Abbey have been married since 2011 after they first met at a nightclub back in 2005. They have two sons and two daughters, with their eldest, Sophia Ruby, born in 2011, Liberty Rose in 2015, Johnny in 2018, and Jack in 2019. The Crouches will launch on Prime Video in 2027.
