Mormon Wives Star’s Husband Files for Divorce Same Day as Bachelorette Cancellation

Jordan Ngatikaura, husband of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper, has filed for divorce in Utah on the same day ABC cancelled the upcoming season of The Bachelorette starring Draper’s co-star Taylor Frankie Paul. The cancellation followed the leak of a violent video showing Paul assaulting her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

Ngatikaura, who married Draper in October 2020, cited a heavy heart in his decision. The couple have two children together, Jagger Zayn, five, and Jovi, three, and Ngatikaura has a daughter from a previous relationship. He stated his priority remains his children’s well-being.

Draper had previously removed Ngatikaura’s Instagram handle and her wedding ring from her bio, and reverted to her maiden name. In November, she claimed she suffered emotional abuse in the marriage, leading to a 90-day separation. Ngatikaura acknowledged causing pain but said he took full accountability.

During season three of SLOMW, Draper admitted to an emotional affair with fellow reality star Marciano Brunette during their separation. Despite attempts to save the marriage, including moving into a new home in November, the couple have now parted ways.
