Mike White Not Speaking To Christian Hubicki After Survivor Betrayal

Christian Hubicki, a contestant on the 50th season of Survivor, has revealed that Mike White is not speaking to him following a blindsiding vote orchestrated by White. Hubicki, who first appeared in Season 37, was voted out in the ninth episode after a twist involving Jimmy Fallon.

The episode featured two major twists. First, host Jeff Probst competed in a challenge alongside castaways, a move inspired by a conversation with Fallon. Later, after Joe won immunity, he sent Hubicki on a journey where he received a note from Fallon. Hubicki failed to complete a puzzle and was forced to write his own name down at tribal council, leading to his elimination.

Hubicki expressed surprise at White's decision to play an advantage against him. 'I did not know he was going to pull it out at that point. I thought we had the votes,' Hubicki said. He speculated that without White's move, Coach and Chrissy would have been voted out instead.

Despite the betrayal, Hubicki remains philosophical about his experience. 'It was a fantastic experience. There are so many ways that the show can go, and you basically agree to the gamut of them,' he said. He described the Fallon twist as 'kind of hilarious' in hindsight.

Hubicki also reflected on his journey, noting that he initially felt in control when he left for the boat. 'What's the worst that could happen? Then I literally got the worst possible thing that could happen,' he said.
