Lesley Manville returns as book editor and amateur detective Susan Ryeland in Marble Hall Murders, the third and final adaptation of Anthony Horowitz's mystery trilogy, airing at 9.35pm on BBC One.
Manville plays Ryeland, a book editor with a side-hustle in detective work, who is persuaded to help a troubled young author whip a manuscript into shape. She is drawn into a murder case that spans multiple timelines and circles back to a tiny coven of occult-obsessed children. The Guardian's Phil Harrison describes it as odd and intriguing.

Strictly Come Dancing (6.15pm, BBC One) airs its first live episode of the series. There's no public vote this week, but Craig is expected to deliver a relatively soul-destroying comment to one of the 15 couples performing. Priya Elan notes it might be harder to pin down who everyone is this season, beyond a few nepo babies and Delta Goodrem.
The Space Race in Colour (8pm, Channel 4) explores the space race era, beginning with the origin story: Germany's fearsome V2 rocket. Its creator passed his secrets to the Americans, who took them to the moon and back.

Paris Police 1910 (9pm, BBC Four) continues the French period drama, mixing dark intrigue with deadpan absurdity as accusations and regular violent deaths accumulate in the wake of la femme mystérieuse Marguerite Steinheil (Evelyne Brochu).
The Golden Cobra (10pm, BBC Three) returns for a second series of the animation set in and around Ebbw Vale's grimmest takeaway. Events turn fantastical – for reasons that aren't entirely clear, Ebbw Vale now has a beach – and seaside-related accidents may prove dangerous to Basil's most prolific customer. It's described as happily tasteless, grossout fun.
Saturday Night Live UK (10pm, Sky One) is hosted by Amelia Dimoldenberg, the YouTuber behind the recently retired web series Chicken Shop Dates, with music from Rachel Chinouriri. It has been a patchy return for the British version so far, but this might be the night it takes off.
Film and live sport
The Moment (6.35am, 1.30pm, Sky Cinema Premiere) is a mockumentary starring Charli xcx, counting down to a big arena tour and its accompanying concert film. Aidan Zamiri's tale flips between the musician being overwhelmed by sudden celebrity and a string of comically terrible Spinal Tap-ish decisions, including the Brat credit card for gay people. Charli keeps viewers guessing as to what's fact and what's not.
