Manchester Village Pride, the new identity for the city's LGBTQ+ celebration, begins on Friday, August 28, with a line-up featuring B*Witched and Danny Beard on the Main Stage.
The four-day event, running until Monday, August 31, places a bigger emphasis on the Gay Village while keeping key elements like the parade and the vigil. It follows the voluntary liquidation of the company behind Manchester Pride, which had overseen the event until the end of last year.
New Community Interest Company
This year's Manchester Village Pride is run by a new Community Interest Company, backed by the council, LGBTQ+ organisations, and financial support from businesses throughout the Gay Village.
The August Bank Holiday weekend celebration features a line-up of queer icons, allies, fan favourites, and local performers.
Friday Main Stage schedule
Hosts Gladys Duffy and DJ Mario open the Main Stage at 6pm, followed by Gladys Duffy at 6.30pm, Lola Lasagne at 7.15pm, Danny Beard at 7.45pm, Freemasons & Katherine Ellis at 8.45pm, and B*Witched at 10.05pm.
On the Community Stage, performances begin at 6pm with Verry Cherry, followed by HUSK at 6.10pm and a Community Showcase at 6.35pm featuring Paris Baby, Claudia Casanova, Delulu Lusional, Ferne Ando, Lara Stoned, Layla Mugler, and Tiffany Jayy. At 7.45pm, LoUis CYfer x Canal Street Kings present The King's Stage 2026 with Wolfy, TKMaxximus, Crip Laywood, Don Vinaste, Dunks, Eva Serration, Jason Waterfalls, Mon-Cheri, Mr. Peach, Robin Reeds, Ross Dale, and Wipher Snipher.
Gaydio Dance Arena
The Gaydio Dance Arena features a Bruk Out Takeover from 6pm with DJ Cam, a Bruk Out Academy School session with Tysie at 6.20pm, a Pool Party with Harry at 7pm, Old School 90s Dancehall with DJ Cam at 7.40pm, and Carnival with dancers at 8.20pm.
Mix-Stress presents Back To The Basics follows with DJ Shelly at 8.30pm, DJ JusT at 9.15pm, DJ Mixstress & Roisin Walsh b2b at 10pm, and Freemasons at 11pm.
