Married At First Sight Australia stars Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal have parted ways following a heated argument over photos of an ex-girlfriend on Scott's phone. The couple, who wed on the show's 2026 season, initially appeared strong but their relationship unravelled after Gia discovered lingerie images of Scott's former partner.
Scott refused to delete the photos, telling producers: 'I've got nothing to hide. I am not going to remove photos of an ex when there is nothing there.' Gia gave him an ultimatum and walked out of the experiment, later explaining: 'They were actually lingerie photos. I felt it was disrespectful to keep those kinds of photos of your ex when you're in a relationship.'
Despite briefly reconciling, Gia ultimately left the show single and has since started a relationship with another Australian TV star, Alan Wallace. She broke show rules by announcing their romance on social media, telling fans they are 'so in love'.
Scott has blamed Gia for the split, saying: 'I gave her my world. I would sit where she was getting her makeup done until she finished. I would take her away every weekend. I never let her pay for a cent. And she would just go off at me for nothing.' He added that he tried hard to make it work because he sees the good in everyone.
