Married At First Sight Australia groom Scott McCristal has made another dig at his ex-wife Gia Fleur, this time over a pink neck pillow that sparked a major argument during the Home Stays week. The couple, who were seen as a power couple earlier in the series, began to crumble when they visited Scott's apartment on the Gold Coast.
During the visit, Gia criticised Scott's home, calling it messy and declaring she couldn't live there. The tension escalated when she spotted a pink neck pillow and assumed it belonged to an ex-girlfriend, questioning his loyalty. Scott explained he bought it at the airport because it was the only one available, but the argument highlighted their lack of trust.
Despite their split, Scott has continued to reference the pillow. On a recent flight with fellow MAFS stars David Momoh and Eliot Donovan, Scott wore the pillow, prompting Eliot to joke about it. The trio also made an Instagram reel captioned: 'For neck support… obviously #mafs.'
The pillow was not the only issue during Home Stays; Gia also disapproved of Scott's tidiness and wardrobe. After a difficult conversation with friends, Scott was honest with Gia, but the couple eventually quit the experiment and each other, unable to communicate without arguing.
