The couple, who joined the experiment as intruders, struggled from the start, with Juliette expressing discomfort over Joel's humour and his close relationship with his mother.
During their time on the show, Juliette accused Joel of making a 'joke' of their marriage, while Joel claimed she was 'mean, moody and cruel'. Their relationship deteriorated further during an intimacy challenge, where Juliette refused to look into Joel's eyes, calling them 'devil eyes'.
The pair ultimately left the experiment during the sixth commitment ceremony after a heated argument in which Juliette called Joel a 'dog and a pig'. Joel has since been seen cosying up to a blonde woman, suggesting he has moved on from the failed marriage.
