MAFS Star Joel Moses Spotted with New Blonde After TV Marriage Collapse
Married At First Sight groom Joel Moses appears to have well and truly moved on from his tumultuous television marriage, as exclusive footage reveals him getting cosy with a glamorous blonde over the weekend.
Intimate Party Sighting
The intruder groom was spotted attending influencer Liz Kirkness' birthday party, where he was seen leaning in close to a striking woman wearing a racy black mini dress styled as a police costume, complete with a checkered cap and gold badge detailing. The pair appeared completely wrapped up in each other, smiling and laughing before sharing an intimate moment as they leaned in face-to-face, seemingly oblivious to the crowd around them.
At one point, Joel gently placed his hands around her waist as they spoke closely, before the two appeared to share a kiss. Partygoers looked on as the reality star, who has been at the centre of one of the season's most explosive storylines, appeared relaxed and carefree following weeks of on-screen drama.
Breaking Point in the Experiment
The sighting comes just days after Joel broke his silence on his failed marriage to bride Juliette, revealing he reached breaking point during the experiment. 'I was very angry,' he told Daily Mail Australia. 'When you're around darkness like that for weeks on end, the darkness consumes you and it does dim your light. I felt like I just couldn't go on any longer. That's why I wrote leave.'
The groom stunned viewers when he chose to leave during Sunday night's Commitment Ceremony, citing his need to stay true to himself. 'I had to stay true to what I believe in. I don't stand for abuse like that,' he said. 'I chose my dignity and I was willing to risk leaving the show.'
Shocking Stay and Deterioration
Despite his decision, Joel was forced to remain in the experiment after Juliette opted to stay - a move he admitted left him blindsided. 'I was pretty shocked that she wrote stay because it seemed like she hated me,' he said.
The relationship quickly deteriorated on-screen, with Joel accusing his TV bride of being 'malicious, vicious and vile' during a fiery exchange. He also claimed her apology during the group confrontation was 'fake and insincere', adding: 'Every word that comes out of her mouth is a manipulative lie.'
Brief Reconciliation Attempt
However, in a surprising twist, Joel revealed he briefly attempted to repair things behind the scenes. 'I put out an olive branch,' he said. 'I thought, we're here for another week, we may as well try and lighten the mood.'
According to Joel, Juliette later offered what he described as a 'real apology', which prompted the pair to try again. But the peace didn't last. 'She didn't change - she just changed her target,' he claimed, alleging she redirected her energy towards fellow bride Bec during the couples retreat.
Group Dynamics and Public Support
Joel also lifted the lid on the group dynamics, claiming alliances were formed early in the experiment. 'Gia is the puppet master behind the shadows,' he alleged.
Despite the chaos, Joel says he has been overwhelmed by the public support he has received since the episodes aired. 'I'm super grateful for all the love - it really means the world to me,' he said. 'I knew people would eventually see the contrast between light and dark.'
Now, it seems Joel is embracing life outside the experiment - and possibly a new romance, as evidenced by his intimate weekend encounter.
