Two Married At First Sight Australia 2026 grooms have caused major drama by walking out on their brides during the final vow ceremonies, despite earlier wedding success. David Momoh left Alissa Fay stranded at the altar, while Danny Hewitt delivered a brutal dumping speech to Bec Zacharia.
Alissa Fay, 33, was forced to read her vows to an empty room after David Momoh, 31, walked away. The product manager accused Alissa of flirting during the Grass is Greener challenge and said he felt betrayed. 'You flirted, made inappropriate jokes and spoke poorly about me behind my back,' David said. 'I'm walking away because loving you shouldn't mean losing myself.'
Alissa later read her vows aloud to the camera crew, saying David was 'everything I wanted and more'. She added, 'Wow, I just wasted three months of my life and he won't even listen to me.'
Meanwhile, Bec Zacharia, 35, was blindsided when her British husband Danny Hewitt, 34, dumped her at the altar. Bec had declared her love, calling Danny her 'best friend' and 'safe space'. Danny's 'horrific' speech ended their marriage on the spot.
The dramatic exits follow a season of explosive drama, with several couples already leaving the experiment early. Rebecca and Steve, Brook and Chris, Julia and Grayson, and Mel and Luke all exited before the final vows.
