Married At First Sight Australia star Bec Zacharia has spoken out about her ongoing feud with co-star Gia Fleur, revealing the pair clashed from their very first meeting. The 35-year-old Adelaide socialite admitted she found Gia 'in-your-face' at the hen party, and the dislike was mutual.
Bec explained that their personalities are fundamentally different, with Bec preferring to observe before speaking, while Gia is more direct. Despite the tension, Bec insisted she respects Gia as a mother and a person, stating, 'She's just not my person.'
The feud escalated when Gia accused Bec's husband Danny Hewitt of staring at her during a dinner party. Bec dismissed the claim, saying she didn't notice any such behaviour. The drama came after Danny rated his sexual attraction to Bec as three out of ten, which Bec described as 'a hard pill to swallow.'
Bec defended herself against online criticism that she is insecure, arguing that if she were truly insecure, she would have left the experiment immediately after Danny's low rating. Instead, she chose to stay and work on their relationship.
Despite the challenges, Bec found some humour in the experience, admitting she was surprised by her own comedic moments on the show. She laughed at a quip she made during a scene, saying, 'I'm cackling at myself at some points.'
