Viewers of Married At First Sight USA were left stunned and divided after a couple dropped a major bombshell during the latest episode. The American version of the popular reality programme, currently airing its 19th season on E4 in the UK, delivered what some fans are calling the 'biggest twist' in the show's history.
Couple's Surprise Announcement
During Thursday's episode (May 28), Meghann and Derrek revealed they are expecting a baby. Derrek shared: 'Where do we start? We found out some pretty crazy news today. Some miraculous news, unexpected news. I think we're both nervous.' Meghann then added: 'We're pregnant! And we were not trying - to make that completely known.'
The couple had been discussing families and children throughout much of the series, but the pregnancy came as a shock. Derrek admitted he had struggled to say 'I love you' to his wife but eventually did so off-camera. He acknowledged the pregnancy changed 'pretty much everything,' while Meghann said they were 'shocked, scared and happy all at once.'
