Married At First Sight Australia's 2026 oldest couple, Rebecca Zukowski and Steve Powell, seemed to have a promising wedding day, but their relationship quickly soured. The pair, both hoping for another shot at love, became the first to leave the experiment.
Despite an initial good match, tension arose during Intimacy Week, leading to their departure. At the second commitment ceremony, both wrote 'leave', with Rebecca claiming she felt 'unheard' by her husband. Steve attributed the issues to a 'personality clash'.
In a tearful exit, Rebecca said she was 'robbed of the experience' and felt it was 'a complete waste of time'. Steve, however, stated he 'wasn't going to rush' finding love again.
Since leaving the show, both have spoken about still seeking love. Rebecca admitted to 9Entertainment: 'Being single for eight years, I didn't realise how lonely I am, I actually want to find love more than anything.'
