As Love Island: All Stars prepares to launch, one returning Islander has dropped a bombshell about a pre-existing connection with a fellow contestant. Tommy Bradley, the 22-year-old landscape gardener, has revealed he shared a flirty direct message exchange with series 10 winner Jess Harding last year.
Secret Digital Romance Revealed
Ahead of the new series starting on Monday, January 12th at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, Tommy confessed to press including The Mirror about his virtual history. "I was messaging quite flirty DMs with Jess Harding," he admitted. "I never met Jess but we DM'd quite a lot."
He explained that the online spark, which lasted for around a month, ultimately fizzled out before they could arrange a real-life meeting. "We were trying to meet up, but it fizzed out and nothing happened," Tommy said, adding, "It could be interesting if she's in there." Jess Harding, who won the 2023 series with her now-ex Sammy Root, is confirmed to be part of the All Stars line-up heading to South Africa.
Unfinished Business in the Villa
Tommy, who only left the main Love Island villa months ago, also has his sights set on revisiting a past villa connection. He expressed regret over how things ended with Emily Moran from his original series. The pair were coupled up for two weeks before the infamous Casa Amor twist, after which Tommy returned with Lucy Quinn and Emily was dramatically dumped.
"I was gutted the way things ended," he revealed. "I had no idea she was going to be dumped from the villa so I was really, really upset." He confirmed they have remained friendly since, bumping into each other on nights out, and would welcome the chance to "explore that a little bit more."
What Tommy Wants From All Stars
This time around, Tommy's mission is clear: to find a lasting relationship. He cited feeling like the perpetual third wheel among his coupled-up friendship group as a key motivator. "All my friends are in relationships and have been for quite a long time," he said. "Every time I go out with them, I feel like I'm just tagging along so it would be nice to have someone with me."
While Jess and Emily are top of his mind, Tommy also named series nine star Samie Elishi as someone he finds "quite fit" and would definitely speak to if she appears. With history, potential rekindlings, and new connections on the cards, Tommy Bradley's second shot at love promises to be anything but straightforward when Love Island: All Stars begins.
