Love Island Winners Reveal £50K Prize Money Plans

Love Island 2026 winners Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak have revealed how they will spend their £50,000 prize money. The couple, who won the ITV reality dating show on Monday night, will split the prize equally.

Spending Plans

During the live final, Julia confessed: "I want him to move in with me." However, in a post-final Q&A with ITV, she appeared to change her mind. Asked what they would spend the money on, Lorenzo said: "I want to get myself a nice token from this experience, maybe a watch or something to commemorate it. I've realised I'm quite a sentimental person. Last night I kept the cork from the champagne that they gave us after the show. Just little things to celebrate what a journey it has been."

Julia declared: "Heels! I’m getting myself a nice pair of heels." Lorenzo added: "And maybe a good holiday!"

Winning Feelings

Talking about winning, Lorenzo said: "It’s very surreal, I did not think this would happen eight weeks ago walking in there. What an honour; very privileged, very humbled." Julia added: "We feel very grateful and it’s crazy, coming from Casa I had no idea I would make it through Casa and then win. What has happened?! We loved it and enjoyed every second, and always lived in the moment."

Julia described their Love Island experience as "Boobalicious experience! Crazy journey, very heightened in terms of emotions. There’s a movie, the new Barbie. It felt like that - in a doll house, you speak to the boys, there is a bit of drama..." Lorenzo added: "It was a fever dream, it’s just nuts, it's one of those things that I don’t think anyone will understand."

The couple beat fellow islanders Kavan Murphy and Jasmine Muller, who placed second, with Simba Kudyiwa and Angelista Gunda coming third. Love Island is available to watch on ITV and ITVX.
