Love Island winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have sparked engagement rumours after sharing romantic snaps from their Maldives holiday. The couple posted a series of loved-up photos on Instagram, including one where they sit on a heart-shaped bench, prompting fans to speculate that Davide may have proposed.
In the photos, the pair wear matching outfits, with Ekin-Su in a ruffled pink dress and Davide in a pink shirt and dark shorts. Davide captioned the post: “They told me that to make her fall in love; I had to make her laugh. But every time she laughs, I’m the one who falls in love.”
Fans flooded the comments with questions about a possible engagement. One wrote: “Why did I think this was a proposal post?” Another said: “I was ready for the engagement ring picture at the end.” A third added: “I hyperventilated don’t do this without a ring again.”
This is not the first time the couple have sparked engagement rumours. In December, Davide gifted Ekin-Su a ring during a rooftop dinner in Rome, placing it on what appeared to be her wedding finger. However, some fans suggested it was a promise ring rather than an engagement ring.
The couple met and fell in love on Love Island last year and went on to win the series. Neither has confirmed any plans to marry.
