Love Island star Harrison Solomon has reportedly left the Spanish villa after being at the centre of an explosive love triangle. The Miami-based Derby contestant had been torn between Toni Laites and Lauren Wood, leaving both women in tears over his indecision.
A source claimed that Solomon decided to quit on Thursday night after struggling over the last few days. 'Everyone was so shocked and people were crying and hugging him,' the source said. 'He worked through everything with the ITV duty of care team and is making his way home to his family now.'
His departure follows a tense recoupling where Toni chose him despite Solomon having slept with Lauren the night before. Cach Mercer, who was left single after Lauren was not picked, told Toni: 'That was one of the most embarrassing things I’ve been through in my entire life… You knew what decision you wanted to make, you were just waiting for the go ahead from someone else. I can’t respect that.'
Earlier, Toni had told Lauren she was removing herself from the situation, saying: 'This is getting f**king ridiculous and it's making me nasty. He's lying to both of us.' The dramatic exit has left fellow islanders shocked, with emotional scenes shown on the terrace as Cach broke down in tears.
