Three couples in Love Island are teetering on the brink of elimination from the programme, with viewers claiming they already know who will triumph in the grand finale. This follows what fans have branded a 'wicked' challenge, with tensions reaching boiling point in the villa.
Maya Jama's 'evil' game
Maya Jama delivered another stunning arrival to the villa, catching the Islanders off guard by presenting a fresh segment titled Not Another Podcast. Each pair was posed questions that the audience at home were eager to have answered, including seeking Kavan's candid thoughts on his brother's romance as well as Aidan and Priya's present position together. Maya also informed Julia and Lorenzo that the public had submitted queries for them. One was: "Lorenzo, why don't you defend Julia like you defend the other girls?" Julia exclaimed: "Great question, I love it!"
Three couples at risk
Later that evening, Maya turned up once again and presented another viewing party for the group, the third in rapid succession following Movie Night and the Grafties. Maya disclosed the responses to questions that both the couples and the watching public were asked to provide, including: "Which couple is the most fame hungry?", "Which couple is sweeping red flags under the carpet?" and "Which couple is most likely to split because one of them cheats?" Aidan and Priya topped the public votes in all categories. This didn't bolster Priya's case against Julia, with even Simba stepping in to defend her, questioning if most of the group were simply 'jumping on the bandwagon' to oppose her.
Another vote asked who are the strongest in the villa but would be weakest outside, with Jasmine and Kavan leading the poll. Maya then disclosed that the pairs were tasked with selecting two of the least compatible couples. Priya and Aidan, Mica and Samraj, along with Julia and Lorenzo were all deemed vulnerable. Maya confirmed that the final decision will rest with the public, who will decide which couple to eliminate.
