The Love Island 2026 final airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 with a twist that has divided fans. Dumped couple Mica Harris and Samraj Toor were given the power to eliminate one more couple, leaving only three pairs to compete for the £50,000 prize, which this year is split equally between the winners.

In a first look clip, the remaining islanders learnt of the decision they had to make. The public will now vote among the remaining three couples to decide the winners. Viewers took to X to express their anger, with one writing: 'I actually hate when the Islanders get the decision.' Another said: 'Producers are pathetic for that plot twist.' A third fumed: 'This plot twist is absolute bu***hit, producers don't give a f**k about the public opinion.'
A fifth user argued: 'It makes zero sense to give Samraj and Mica a say in who reaches the final when the public has repeatedly voted them into the bottom. The logic just isn't there...'
