Love Island viewers were left stunned during the 2026 live final when dumped Islander Tommy revealed he had kissed Charleen Murphy off-screen. The revelation came as former Islanders returned to the villa for the July 27 episode, hosted by Maya Jama, who crowned the year's champion.
Tommy's confession shocks fans
Tommy, who was eliminated before Casa Amor, joked that he had experienced his Casa adventure outside the villa, confessing he had grafted with one bombshell. He then revealed he had locked lips with Irish influencer Charleen Murphy, sparking screams from the audience and a flurry of reactions on social media.
One viewer posted on X: "Tommy dont know how to not kiss and tell ? ?" Another commented: "Tommy you talk too muchhh omds, just bareee excited." Meanwhile, Elicia and Ethan, who joined later in the competition, revealed they had also found each other and were developing a romance. The announcement was made during an Instagram live session hosted by Aftersun panellist Joe Baggs an hour before the final.
Yasmine Pettet called it a "plot twist", and fans were delighted. One viewer commented: "TBF i knew if elicia and ethan didn't come in together they would crack on." Another remarked: "I had a feeling Elicia and Ethan would be exploring they do look good together."
