The latest odds for the Love Island final have been revealed, with Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak tipped as the probable champions despite a major complication that could see them eliminated.

In the latest instalment, dumped islanders Mica and Samraj were sent a text revealing that before their permanent departure, they must select one couple to accompany them, leaving just three duos in the final. Their choice will be disclosed during the opening sequences of Monday night's final.

According to BOYLE Sports, Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak remain clear frontrunners at 1/3, having gained traction during the series' later stages. Kavan Murphy and Jasmine Muller are their nearest competition at 7/2, despite Jasmine's commanding presence in individual rankings. Simba Kudyiwa and Angelista Gunda have seen odds tumble to 11/2 from 14/1 last week, as the recent twist boosted their prospects. Tommy Stagg and Yasmin Hadlow are at 14/1, with revelations about Tommy's previous relationship damaging their chances.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports, said: "Lorenzo and Julia are still firmly in the driving seat, but the final has one major complication before the public gets to decide. Mica and Samraj now have the power to choose one couple to dump, so the odds could look very different by the time voting opens."
He added: "Tommy and Yasmin are the clear outsiders at 14/1, and the recent chatter around Tommy's former relationship has certainly kept the spotlight on them. Whether that turns viewers away or creates a last-minute rallying cry remains to be seen, but their fate may ultimately rest with Mica and Samraj before the public gets a say."
