Love Island viewers have threatened to contact Ofcom just hours ahead of the live final. The Love Island finale is set to air tonight, with only one couple being named as the 2026 champions. However, a brutal twist awaits the final four as Mica and Samraj will vote for one pair to be booted out.
This comes after Mica and Samraj were voted off as former Islanders returned to voice their opinions on who they believed least deserved a place in the live final. Spectators have expressed their worries for the dumped couple due to a surge in public backlash during their stint in the villa.
Aftersun Panel Sparks Controversy
Mica and Samraj have been under public scrutiny in recent weeks, drawing criticism from fans. But some viewers are calling for a change in narrative after the duo found themselves the subject of discussion once more during the latest episode of Aftersun, reports OK!. On the programme, the guest panel were questioned if they anticipated Mica and Samraj to receive eight out of the 18 votes as Tyrique Hyde quipped: "To be fair at least Mica got her wish. I know she kept saying, 'Just send me home'. At least she's home now."
Toni Laites responded: "She already tried to leave; Samraj didn't want to." As Maya queried: "What do you reckon he wanted to stay in there for then?" Tyrique added: "A couple more followers maybe." The remarks sparked several laughs from the audience as the conversation swiftly moved to the former Islanders confronting Mica over past behaviour.
Toni declared: "No, I mean by now why don't they get it. They've been in the bottom every single vote, so like it's time to look in the mirror." Yasmin Pettet also remarked it was "convenient" that their romance was revealed during the "Not Another Podcast" challenge.
