Love Island All Stars: Samie Elishi's Third Villa Return Sparks Fan Backlash
Love Island fans question Samie Elishi's third return

Love Island viewers were left scratching their heads this week as Samie Elishi made her third entrance into the famous villa, sparking a wave of reactions online comparing her to the show's most frequent flyer, Casey O'Gorman.

Third Time Lucky? Samie's Controversial Return

The 25-year-old reality star entered the All Stars villa on Monday night as a bombshell alongside fellow newcomers AJ Bunker and Konnor Ewudzi. This marks Elishi's third stint on the ITV2 dating show, having reached the final of the main 2023 series with Tom Clare and featuring briefly in the second All Stars series in January 2025.

Fans quickly took to social media platform X to voice their bewilderment. One user wrote: 'Me trying to understand why Samie's back for the 3rd time', while another commented: 'I'm sorry but if Samie failed to love on her season, then on all stars again why is this girl back again??? Girl get a job.'

Many drew direct comparisons to Made In Chelsea's Casey O'Gorman, who has also appeared three times. Comments included: 'Samie after Casey's most appearances title' and 'Bit embarrassing for Samie going on again. It's giving Casey vibes.'

From Finalist to Short Stint: Samie's Love Island Journey

Samie first joined Love Island as a bombshell in the 2023 series, eventually finishing in third place with partner Tom Clare. However, their romance was short-lived, ending dramatically just months after leaving the villa.

Both returned separately for All Stars series two in early 2025. Samie entered as a late bombshell on day 22 but was dumped from the island after only five days. Speaking ahead of her latest return, Elishi admitted she felt she didn't 'get a fair shot' during her last All Stars experience, prompting her decision to try again.

Since her last villa exit, Samie briefly dated presenter Sam Thompson before their quiet split. Meanwhile, her ex Tom Clare went on to win All Stars with Molly Smith, and the pair are now engaged.

Meet the Other New Bombshells

Samie wasn't the only familiar face making a comeback. AJ Bunker, 33, who rose to fame on the show's seventh series in 2021, also returned. After her original stint, she turned to boxing, beginning her professional sporting career in 2022.

'I just want to not be so in my shell,' AJ said about her return. 'My friends and family watching knew it wasn't me... I'd like to show people that I'm not a doormat.'

Completing the trio was Konnor Ewudzi, 30, from Season 11. 'It's another opportunity to find somebody,' he stated. 'I turned 30 in November so my friends around me are getting engaged, having kids and I'm wondering, "When is it my turn?"'

The Full All Stars Line-Up

The new bombshells join an already packed villa of returning Islanders, including:

  • Whitney Adebayo, 28 (Series 10)
  • Millie Court, 29 (Series 7)
  • Jess Harding, 25 (Series 10 winner)
  • Shaq Muhammad, 27 (Series 9)
  • Tommy Bradley, 22 (Series 12)

With the stage set for more drama, fans will be watching closely to see if Samie Elishi's third attempt at finding love in the villa proves successful, or if she'll be remembered as the female counterpart to Casey O'Gorman's record-breaking appearances.
