Love Island fans were left making the same demand regarding one contestant's appearance during Thursday evening's episode (July 2). The aftermath from Casa Amor rolled on, with countless tears and emotional breakdowns as couples had awkward reunions after bringing bombshells back to the main villa.
Fans Spot Ellie's Smudged Makeup
Amid all the drama, viewers were quick to spot that Scottish contestant Ellie's makeup had been smudged by a tear, wiping some of it off. They urged her to take a moment to sort it out. "There's about 80 islanders in the villa rn and not a single one has told Ellie to sore her makeup," one person said, reports OK!.
Another echoed: "Is no one going to tell Ellie about her makeup?" as someone else wrote: "Can someone help Ellie with her makeup! ! ! This is not it babes." Another added: "Always see everyone saying casa recoupling takes hours to film and is always the longest night so how come in all that time no one has still told Ellie about the tear streak on her face."
Viewers Express Frustration
"I thought that was a birthmark on Ellie until twitter informed me it was just a tear mark in her make up, why the f**k has no one told her?" someone else said. "Ellie and this tear mark?! Girl go wipe your face," yet another said. "Can someone take my girl Ellie to the dressing room and fix her makeup???" one said, while another commented: "Can they give ellie 5 mins to touch up her makeup."
Ellie's Emotional Night
Though Ellie looked tearful, she'd been crying for several of the other women in the villa who had been left single by their partners, with Kavan and Simba returning with two bombshells from Casa Amor. Ellie reunited with Finley, though he did come clean about finding a connection with another girl. As he struggled to remember if he did more than kiss her on the cheek, Ellie warned: "If you're lying, I will find out."
Ahead of entering the villa, Ellie had hinted at what she's looking for: "Simple... tall, dark and handsome. If it's not broken, don't fix it. It's a classic for a reason." She added: "Nice teeth, nice tattoos, partial to a blonde as well. Pretty face. Look like you're going to break my heart but like, please don't." She continued: "I like confidence, but the minute you breach cocky? The door is there. No thank you. Are you here for the drama, or is finding love your only goal? I want to find love but if drama comes from that then so be it. I want love and I'm not going to not fight for it."
