Love Island All Stars Leak: Scott van-der-Sluis Return Spilled by Footballer Brother
Love Island All Stars contestant leaked by footballer brother

In a classic case of sibling slip-up, a contestant for the upcoming Love Island All Stars series has been leaked after his footballer brother spilled the beans to strangers.

The Tipsy Revelation

According to a report by The Sun, the news was revealed when Jamie Reed, a 38-year-old striker for Welsh club Bangor City 1876, made a tipsy confession. While making small talk, he told a group of younger people that his younger brother, Scott van-der-Sluis, was imminently returning to television.

An insider told the publication: "[Jamie] was a bit tipsy and, to make small talk with younger people, he started telling them about his younger brother, Scott. He said, 'You must know Scott, he was on Love Island', and they did." The source added, "I think Scott coming back will make brilliant telly because he’s controversial and conventionally attractive."

Scott's Reality TV Odyssey

The leaked contestant, 24-year-old Scott van-der-Sluis, is no stranger to the Love Island franchise. His reality TV journey began in 2023 when he entered the UK villa as a bombshell in season 10, eventually being dumped on Day 52.

Undeterred, he shocked fans by appearing on Love Island USA less than a month later, though his stint lasted a mere five days. Just a few weeks after that, he signed up for Love Island Games, marking his third attempt at finding love on screen in under a year.

This All Stars series, filming in South Africa in January, will be his fourth foray into the iconic villa.

From Football Pitch to Villa

Before his television fame, Scott was a promising footballer. He spent time in the youth academies of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Swansea City. His last professional club was Runcorn Linnets in 2022, before a brief move to Irish side Shelbourne. His brother, Jamie, continues to play and coach for Bangor City 1876.

The leak is particularly surprising given Scott's recent public comments. Just last month, he confirmed on fellow Islander Whitney Adebayo's podcast that he had pulled out of talks for All Stars season two.

"I just didn't feel like it was the right time," he explained. "Did I feel like it was the right time to walk in that Villa? Personally, no." He also cited the potential presence of his ex, Catherine Agbaje, as a complicating factor, and made a dig at the older lineup, quipping it was "giving Love Island Old Stars."

Earlier, on his own YouTube cooking show with Lochan Nowacki, Scott insisted he wouldn't be appearing. "I want to be married with three kids by the age of like 32... You will not find me on any sort of dating show past the age of 28 maximum," he declared.

Despite his denials, it appears the lure of the villa proved too strong. He even admitted to persuading his friend and All Stars runner-up Luca Bish to take part this year, after the pair built a friendship over a football project in the United States.

Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment regarding Scott's alleged participation. With his history of dramatic entrances and exits, his return is sure to add fuel to the All Stars fire.
