Love Is Blind UK star Katisha has revealed she Facetimed her ex-boyfriend while her fiancé Javen was proposing to her on the show. The revelation came during an exclusive interview with Reach Screen Time, where she discussed her experience on the Netflix series.
Katisha, who quit the experiment early after being tipped off by Megan about Javen's flirtatious behaviour at the cast mixer, said she made the call because she was unsure about the process. 'I was leaving the experiment because the whole point was to get married. We weren't dating, we were engaged and we were planning a wedding,' she explained.
She added that watching the episodes back was tough, but the reunion scene reaffirmed her decision. 'It was disappointing because it brought up a lot of things that I had put to the side and kind of squashed and ignored,' she said.
Katisha also addressed Javen's comments towards Sophie at the mixer, exclaiming: 'Watching the mixer I was like, "Nah, surely not!"' She claimed Javen has not taken full accountability for his actions, saying he 'tries to dance around the whole thing' and was not ready to be a husband.
Javen has since stood by his actions, insisting he is a 'friendly person', but offered an apology to Katisha during the reunion episode, which she accepted. Love Is Blind UK season 2 is streaming now on Netflix.
