Love Is Blind UK season two has returned to Netflix with dramatic scenes as one contestant stormed off in tears after a romantic rejection. The new series, which premiered on Wednesday, August 13, sees a fresh group of singletons seeking love without ever meeting face-to-face until after an engagement.
The first four episodes introduce a love triangle involving gaming entrepreneur Kieran, 28, who has been named in Forbes 30 Under 30. Kieran found himself torn between two women, Megan and Sophie, after forming connections with both in the pods. His decision to leave a personal gift for Megan sparked a confrontation with Sophie, who accused him of being disrespectful.
Sophie, 28, from Manchester, told Kieran: 'Your actions have made your intentions very clear.' She added: 'I bring a lot to the table, I want to be with someone that sees that. I'm a prize, like I'm a catch and on the outside world you would see that so I'm not here to beg you to love me.'
After ending their conversation, Sophie was seen in tears, saying 'I just feel I'm done now' before storming off and adding: 'F*** this, someone needs to get this mic off me.' Sophie, who ended a five-year relationship a year ago, has confessed she has never been in love and fears heartbreak.
Episodes one to four are available to stream now on Netflix, with episodes five to eight due for release on August 20.
