Dan Webb and Jessika Power, who found love on Married at First Sight Australia, have confirmed their split just months after the show ended. The couple, who began their relationship as a secret affair during filming, broke up live on television during a reunion episode.
During the finale, the experts showed Dan a clip of Jessika flirting with fellow cast member Nic Jovanovic before their relationship began. This led to a heated argument, with Dan citing trust issues. In a subsequent interview on Talking Married, the pair bickered again after Jessika admitted to flirting with Nic.
Dan later told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia: “Me and Jess have split, let’s get that straight. We have broken up. There’s allegations coming out that we’re still together. She’s saying we’re still together. We are not together.” He described the relationship as “toxic” and said Jessika had not been honest with him.
Jessika was reportedly upset after the interview and ‘stormed off’. Dan added: “She was very upset and I was upset too watching her being upset. I said, ‘Look I don’t think I can continue this. It’s toxic, you’re not being honest with me’.”
