I'm A Celebrity Fans Call Out Eddie Kadi's 'Nasty' Dig at Lisa Riley

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! viewers have expressed sympathy for Lisa Riley after a 'shady' comment from fellow campmate Eddie Kadi. The 49-year-old Emmerdale actress was appointed deputy camp leader by new leader Ruby Wax, but tensions quickly arose.

Ginge, 24, and Aitch, 25, who had previously been camp leaders, joined forces with Jack Osbourne, 40, to challenge the new hierarchy. Ginge accused Ruby and Lisa of 'taking the mic' and demanded an end to 'welcome dances'. Lisa refused, leading to a heated exchange.

Eddie Kadi, 42, then interjected, telling Lisa: 'Hold on, things have changed though, the regime has changed. You are lucky to be in that position.' Lisa, visibly hurt, exclaimed 'What?' and stood with her hands on her hips for the rest of the interaction.

Fans took to social media to criticise Eddie's remark. One viewer wrote: 'Did I mishear or did Eddie say to Lisa she shouldn’t be deputy anyway? She looked very hurt.' Another added: 'Yes I thought it was quite nasty what he said to her.'

Eddie has since been voted out of the jungle, becoming the second celebrity to leave. In his exit interview, he said: 'I'm happy and sad at the same time... I've had such an incredible time.'
