Monday evening's Love Island All Stars final on ITV saw host Maya Jama bring back several former contestants before announcing the winners, with tensions quickly escalating when Kyra Lizama confronted Curtis Pritchard over a Valentine's Day social media post.
The final lineup included Sean and Lucinda, Scott and Leanne, Ciaran and Samie, Yamen and Whitney, and Zac and Millie, following the elimination of Belle and Harrison on Sunday. Maya noted that when she last saw Kyra and Curtis, their relationship appeared to be progressing well. However, footage showed Curtis had posted on Valentine's Day appealing to his online followers to help him find romance.
Maya remarked: 'Find me love? I thought you left with some!' Curtis clarified he had only known Kyra for seven days at that point and began to explain, but Kyra interrupted, revealing she believed their connection was solid until seeing the video. She said: 'Mind you, that was posted a few days after we left each other. So we were all good, things were very romantic. It came out of left field because I had no idea that was coming.'
Curtis tried to explain the clip, stating he is prepared to settle down, to which Kyra responded: 'Clearly it wasn't with me, though.' He revealed that his brother and sister-in-law helped him record the video to assist in finding a partner. Kyra insisted the post was disrespectful, adding: 'I got zero communication from him, before and after the post.'
As Maya attempted to step in, Kyra turned her attention to Jack Keating, declaring: 'That was not right of you to speak on my business! You can keep my name out of your mouth.' Later in the programme, Jack apologised, saying: 'I shouldn't have said that and looking back on it now, seeing how it came out and stuff like that. I apologise and I shouldn't have said that and yeah, I f***ed up.'
