A viral family's inner circle will be the subject of a brand new reality show that has just been announced. The Kardashians are a prominent American family known across the world, and they have become an iconic fixture in popular culture. While they skyrocketed to fame following their reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, they were already on the map thanks to Kim Kardashian's previous work as an assistant to Paris Hilton, and her father Robert Kardashian's high-profile role as defence attorney to O.J Simpson.
Now, one of the Kardashian clan has announced a brand new reality series that will give fans an insight into their inner circle. Announcing the news at Hulu's Get Real event this week, Khloé Kardashian shared news about the upcoming show titled The Girls.
Khloé Kardashian's New Series
Khloé, who serves as an executive producer, explained that The Girls will follow the star's chosen family as she said: "My incredible inner circle of real life besties. They're moms, they're moguls, they're my girls - and soon they're going to be all your girls, too." In an exclusive preview, she can be heard saying the friends are absolutely unhinged, giving an insight into what the series will be like.
What to Expect from 'The Girls'
The Girls will follow the group of friends as they navigate motherhood, relationships, and building their businesses as well as giving viewers an exclusive insight into their unfiltered friendships. An Instagram page has already been set up which teases: "The Girls coming soon on @hulu", and it already has almost 4,000 followers.
According to Deadline, the synopsis states: "They’re building empires. They’re building families. They’re always unfiltered. Welcome to The Girls, where Khloé Kardashian’s inner circle of real-life besties are raising babies, running businesses, and surviving brutally honest group chats. From surprise proposals to solo parenting, glam getaways to growing pains, this is the new era of reality TV where the chaos is couture — and the bonds are unbreakable."
Although no official release date has yet been given, it is expected that The Girls will land on Hulu and Disney Plus later this year. Many fans have taken to social media to share their excitement as one person wrote on TikTok: "OMGGGGG STOP CAN'T WAIT where can you watch this in the UK?" Another commented: "It's giving major wages Kardashian cross over cannot wait." A third added: "I am living for this! I can't wait. I wanna be one of the girls. FOMO."
The announcement comes as The Kardashians is preparing for its eighth season. A release date for The Girls is yet to be announced.
