The first batch of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! stars were spotted at Brisbane Airport on Tuesday, heading home after this year's series. Manchester social media star Angry Ginge was crowned King of the Jungle, with Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson finishing as runner-up.
Tom, 39, was seen beaming alongside his proud mum as they prepared for the long flight back to the UK. During the finale, it was revealed that both Ginge and Tom's mums had gotten matching koala tattoos in tribute to their sons. Fellow finalist Shona McGarty's sister also showed off the same tattoo.
Former model Kelly Brook, the fourth star to be eliminated, was also seen pushing her luggage at the airport. Speaking on the spin-off show Unpacked, the 46-year-old admitted she thinks her lack of close friendships and tendency to nap in camp led to her early exit. 'I stayed very neutral with everybody, I didn't lean on anyone in particular,' she explained.
Manchester rapper Aitch, who was at one point the firm favourite to win, was also seen preparing to return home. The 25-year-old was the ninth campmate to leave, shocking fans. Shona later confirmed that rumours of a romance between them were false, saying he was 'lovely but too young'.
Vogue Williams, a latecomer to the jungle, was seen at her hotel in Surfer's Paradise before her flight. The mum-of-two, married to Spencer Matthews, was the third star eliminated. She revealed on her podcast that she had a panic attack in camp due to lack of sleep, saying, 'I just couldn't control it and went into full panic mode.'
Comedian Eddie Kadi, the second star eliminated, was also spotted with his luggage. The 42-year-old, who accidentally fell out of his hammock during his stay, said his jungle time was unforgettable.
