Katie Price's Sincere Apology to Myleene Klass Over MBE 'Clone' Remark
Katie Price Apologises to Myleene Klass for MBE Dig

Reality television star Katie Price has publicly issued a grovelling apology to presenter Myleene Klass after making a scathing on-stage remark about her being a 'clone' following the news of her MBE honour.

The On-Stage Dig That Sparked the Controversy

The incident began when Katie Price, 47, was on tour with her friend Kerry Katona. During a show, the glamour model targeted Myleene Klass, who had been awarded an MBE in July. Katie expressed her disbelief at the honour, which she mistakenly believed was given for 'playing the classical piano.' She went further, branding Myleene a 'clone' and criticising the TV industry as 'corrupt.'

This wasn't the only time Katie voiced her opinion. In a separate interview with Closer Magazine just last week, she launched an astonishing attack, questioning, 'why the f**k has Myleene Klass got an MBE? For playing the classical piano?' and reiterating her 'clone' comments.

A Podcast Revelation and Heartfelt Apology

The turning point came on a new episode of The Katie Price Show. During the podcast, Katie's sister, Sophie, confronted her about the comments, revealing that she and their mother had 'told her off' for the remarks.

It was here that Katie confessed her crucial error. She admitted she was unaware that Myleene's MBE was actually awarded for her services to raising awareness of miscarriages and women's health. This new information resonated deeply with Katie, who has personally suffered miscarriages herself, including at late stages of pregnancy.

'Now I never apologise unless I'm in the wrong,' Katie stated. 'I did not know on my life, now I know why she did get an MBE. She done something about miscarriages, and that's very close to my heart... so I commend her for that and I apologise to her.'

She clarified that her 'clone' comment was aimed at the management companies that represent many TV personalities, not at Myleene as an individual. Concluding her apology, Katie said, 'From me to Myleene, I sincerely apologise because it's a good cause she does it for. Apologies from me, that will teach me for not reading into it, and talking before I knew that she deserved to get an MBE.'

Broader Feuds and Shared Histories

In the same podcast episode, Katie Price also broke her silence on her decade-long feud with model and presenter Kelly Brook. The pair have a famously strained relationship and have both been romantically linked to rugby player Danny Cipriani.

Katie claimed she couldn't remember past negative comments where she had branded Kelly a 'heffer.' Instead, she praised Kelly, calling her 'stunning' and 'beautiful,' and stated she was 'rooting for Kelly! From one glamour girl to another!'

She was less complimentary about their shared ex, Danny Cipriani, whom she dated after her split from Alex Reid. She poked fun at him and declared him a 'k**b and a player,' a sentiment her sister Sophie echoed.
