Reality television personality Jon Gosselin has embarked on a new chapter in his life, exchanging vows with his partner Stephanie Lebo in a beautiful ceremony held in Pennsylvania. The wedding comes nearly two decades after his highly-publicised divorce from ex-wife Kate Gosselin.
A Romantic Celebration
The couple said 'I do' on Sunday at The Barn at Silverstone in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, surrounded by 180 of their closest friends and family. The 48-year-old father-of-eight looked delighted as he married Lebo, with whom he has been in a relationship for over four years.
Adding a deeply personal touch to the ceremony, two of Jon's children from his previous marriage were in attendance. His 21-year-old children, Hannah and Collin Gosselin, shared in their father's happiness, with Collin taking on the special role of a groomsman during the proceedings.
Jon delivered a heartfelt statement to his new bride, capturing the emotion of the day. 'Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason,' he told Lebo, according to Entertainment Tonight. 'I feel like the luckiest man in the world, because I get to grow old with my best friend and the love of my life.'
From Barbecue to Bride and Groom
Jon Gosselin and Stephanie Lebo's love story began more than four years ago at a summer barbecue in August of 2021. They met at the home of a mutual friend, connecting shortly after Jon's split from his previous girlfriend, Colleen Conrad.
The couple began dating soon after that initial meeting but chose to keep their relationship private for some time. They eventually went public with their romance in August 2023, two years after they first started seeing each other.
For the big day, the bride looked stunning in a Tasha wedding gown by Eddy K. Lebo's daughter, Juliana, was present to witness her mother's nuptials, supporting her on this significant occasion.
Looking Towards the Future
With the holiday season approaching, the newlyweds have decided to postpone their honeymoon until the new year. The couple plans to embark on a romantic Caribbean cruise in 2025, according to reports.
This new marriage marks a fresh start for Jon, who was previously part of one of reality television's most famous families. He and ex-wife Kate rose to fame with their show 'Jon & Kate Plus 8', which aired from 2007 to 2009. The couple, who married in 1999, share eight children: twins Madelyn and Cara, and sextuplets Aaden, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Collin, and Joel.
Their divorce was finalised in 2009, leading to the show being recast as 'Kate Plus 8' for six more seasons before it concluded in 2017. Jon revealed in a recent interview that he hasn't spoken to his ex-wife Kate in approximately seven years, with their last in-person conversation likely occurring around 2018.
