Adam Thomas has broken his silence following a heated row with Jimmy Bullard on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. The clash occurred during Tuesday's episode when the pair were partnered for a trial. Jimmy abruptly quit the challenge, saying 'I don't think I've got it in me' and triggered his exit, which also meant Adam's departure as they were a team.
Ant and Dec reversed the rules after Jimmy's withdrawal, allowing Adam to stay with the campmates' unanimous agreement. In his first social media post since the incident, Adam thanked select campmates—Gemma Collins, Ashley Roberts, Scarlett Moffatt, Beverley Callard and Sinitta—but notably omitted Jimmy and David Haye.
Adam wrote on Instagram: 'I just want to say thank you to all these incredible women... You've supported me in ways I don't even think you fully understand.' He added: 'I was never in it to win. I just refused to let them win by breaking me... Nothing but love.'
During the trial, Adam was furious, shouting: 'You f***ing taking the piss? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants.' Jimmy retorted: 'Calm down, that is pathetic.' Adam later expressed regret, saying: 'That is what I am more embarrassed about, the way I reacted.'
I'm a Celebrity... South Africa airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV and ITVX, with the live final on Friday in London.
