Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson is reportedly set to join the cast of reality show Towie (The Only Way Is Essex), according to sources. The 35-year-old singer is said to be putting her music career on hold to make a surprise foray into reality television, following months of headlines about her twin daughters' health issues.
Move to reality TV after twins' health struggles
Nelson, who gave birth to twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe earlier this year, has been dealing with their heartbreaking health problems. Now, she is reportedly planning to join the ITV show, with insiders claiming she could become part of the “glam mums group” alongside Lauren Goodger and Amy Childs.
“It’s a total natural fit,” a source told The Sun. “Jesy is from Essex and knows a lot of the cast anyway so it’s not going to feel forced. She’s been talking a lot to Lauren and Amy Childs in particular so it’s likely she’ll be a part of their glam mums group.”
Music career on hold
The singer, who left Little Mix in 2020 and released solo music, is reportedly stepping back from music to focus on this new opportunity. The move marks a significant shift for Nelson, who has been a prominent figure in pop music.
