Jack Osbourne's Emotional Tribute to Ozzy on I'm A Celeb
Jack Osbourne in tears over dad Ozzy on I'm A Celeb

In a deeply moving scene on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, Jack Osbourne was overcome with emotion as he reflected on the four-month anniversary of his father Ozzy Osbourne's passing.

An Emotional Jungle Confession

The 40-year-old television personality received comfort from his campmates during Sunday's episode of the ITV reality show. While gathered around the morning campfire, Osbourne opened up about what he described as a 'delicate day'.

'Yesterday was a bit of a delicate day for me,' Osbourne confessed to comedian Eddie Kadi and social media star Morgan Burtwistle. 'I was doing OK, and then I realised it was the four months since my dad died. Had a good cry with Eddie... but ultimately I'm happy, I'm really happy I'm here.'

Campmates Offer Support and Comic Relief

Burtwistle responded with supportive words, stating 'Men cry too' in a moment of genuine camaraderie. The emotional atmosphere was briefly lightened when model Kelly Brook had a humorous realisation about her own birthday.

'Oh my god, it's my birthday tomorrow,' Brook exclaimed, only for Osbourne to correct her: 'It's the 23rd today.'

The model admitted her confusion, joking: 'I honestly thought it was tomorrow. Jack even had to figure out when my birthday was, is there nothing this guy can't do? How am I going to navigate life without him.'

Bushtucker Trial Tests Campmate's Nerves

Later in the episode, attention turned to Morgan Burtwistle as he faced his third bushtucker trial of the series, titled 'Terror-Flying Tours'. Before beginning the challenge, he received an unusual offer from veteran comedian Ruby Wax.

Wax presented him with her 'lucky underpants', explaining: 'I always wear red when I wanna, you know, pull off something.' A puzzled Burtwistle responded: 'You want to give me your underwear?'

The trial required Burtwistle to stick his head into a series of boxes, each simulating different locations while he attempted to release stars using only his mouth or tongue.

The challenge included:

  • A slow start with lizards where he failed to secure stars
  • Success in a box with toads where he scored two out of two stars
  • A triumph in a rat-filled box where he secured three out of three stars
  • A final confrontation with his fear of spiders alongside crocodiles

Despite presenter Ant McPartlin joking that his efforts would make 'a great meme', Burtwistle finished with 10 out of a possible 12 stars.

New Leadership and Camp Dynamics

The episode concluded with the announcement that rapper Aitch had been voted as the new camp leader by the public. Aitch immediately selected Burtwistle as his deputy, granting them privileges including comfortable seats around the campfire, access to the treehouse sleeping quarters, and use of the treehouse toilet.

The new leadership team assigned camp duties to their fellow celebrities:

  • Jack Osbourne and Alex Scott: Chef duties
  • Tom Read Wilson and Vogue Williams: Washing up
  • Shona McGarty and Kelly Brook: Water collection
  • Eddie Kadi and Martin Kemp: Wood gathering
  • Ruby Wax and Lisa Riley: Toilet duties
