Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) reaches the altar in Hollyoaks next week for his wedding to Leah Barnes (Charlotte Alex Riley), but he brings a serious confession that looks set to destroy the big day.
The groom-to-be is unaware that fiancée Leah is cheating on him with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer). Imran also has a secret: there was someone else he loved before Leah, and that person appears to be his one true love. He has kept this hidden, convinced Leah is the girl of his dreams.
Stag Do Surprise and Wedding Prep
On the night before the ceremony, Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) surprises Imran with a coasteering adventure for his stag do, capturing the events on film. Meanwhile, Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) does Leah's nails, but her mood shifts when her bridesmaid dress arrives. Leah, concerned, tracks down Prince, who is in a relationship with Vicky, urging him to look after her.
Later, Leah discovers that Imran has deleted a confession he recorded weeks ago, leaving her wondering what he confessed. In a bid to find out, she confronts Imran, who reveals there was another woman he wanted to marry before they got together.
The Wedding Day Unfolds
The following day, Imran is a no-show at his own wedding, with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) comforting Leah. Imran eventually arrives, explaining he was delayed because he was on the phone to sister Yazz.
At the altar, Leah delivers emotional vows incorporating Imran's faith. Imran then speaks, ready to make a big confession. The question is: what does he reveal? Subsequent scenes bring confrontations and secrets into the open.
