ITV has announced a new spin-off show for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! titled I'm A Celebrity Unpacked, set to air from November 17. The show will be hosted by former finalist Joel Dommett, current King of the Jungle Sam Thompson, and presenter DJ Kemi Rodgers.
Joel Dommett revealed the news on Good Morning Britain, stating: 'I did the extra show for three years, which I loved. I feel like I learned everything there. And then it stopped for a couple of years, and it feels like the right time to bring it back.' He added that the format has been changed significantly, with Ant and Dec expected to appear daily.
However, fans have reacted negatively to the announcement, branding the spin-off 'dead' on social media. Many expressed disappointment, calling it unnecessary and criticising the choice of hosts. The main series returns on November 17 at 9pm on ITV, with a trailer showing Ant and Dec in a 'secret jungle test facility' in Australia.
