Adam Thomas has spoken out about his explosive row with Jimmy Bullard on I'm a Celebrity... South Africa, saying he 'can only apologise' for losing his temper. The Waterloo Road star, who won the spin-off series, addressed the incident on his podcast At Home with the Thomas Bros.
The row occurred after Bullard quit a trial, meaning Thomas would forfeit his place on the show. Thomas confronted Bullard, using strong language and later admitting to dropping 'c-bombs'. During the live final, Bullard accused Thomas of being 'abusive, aggressive and intimidating', while David Haye claimed editing made Thomas look like a 'victim'. Ant and Dec defended Thomas, with Ant saying the exchange was not intimidating.
Thomas said: 'I take full responsibility for my actions... I lost my s**t and I said the C-word a couple of times. And I can only apologise for that. I have done on numerous occasions to Jimmy.' He added that Bullard may have 'a legal agenda' and that he is 'getting the blame for everything'.
