I'm A Celebrity South Africa: New campers arrive as camp splits into rival kingdoms

Two new campmates are set to arrive during the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity South Africa, as Scarlett Moffatt shares a major update with her fellow campers. The Gogglebox star reveals that another surprise awaits the tired and hungry celebrities, instructing them to make their way down to King's Croc Station.

Upon arrival, presenters Ant & Dec greet the group and announce a major change: the camp will be split into two kingdoms, the Lions and the Rhinos. The celebrities will compete head-to-head in trials and challenges, with the winning kingdom earning dinner and the losers surviving on rice and beans. They will also collect pennants, with the team gathering the most winning a safari trip and a bush banquet.

To lead the kingdoms, two new campmates arrive on the Royal Express: former English footballer Jimmy Bullard and former football manager Harry Redknapp. Ant declares: 'I give you your new monarchs! Harry Redknapp, the Lion King, and Jimmy Bullard, the Rhino King!' The newly crowned leaders then select their followers, forming their teams.

Back at camp, the kingdoms have little time to settle before they are faced with their next trial, Wicked Watering Hole. The new arrivals have contrasting histories with the show: Bullard was the first celebrity evicted in 2014, finishing tenth, while Redknapp was crowned jungle king in 2018.

I'm A Celebrity South Africa airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV1.
