Ashley Roberts has described the live final of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa as 'unhinged' and 'like a scene from The Jerry Springer Show', as she criticised her male co-stars for their behaviour during the explosive broadcast.
The Pussycat Doll, speaking to Heart Radio, said she was 'angry' watching the men argue, referring to the clash between Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas that dominated the finale. Roberts claimed Bullard and David Haye came in 'with a mission' and that she felt she might get hit as she tried to dodge 'big man hands flying' in her face.
Roberts expressed disappointment that the cast could not resolve the conflict as adults, saying: 'It's a shame because Adam did become the legend and I don't think he was even able to enjoy it because of all of the drama.' She added that the behaviour made her 'heart hurt' given the state of the world.
The finale, hosted by Ant and Dec, saw two stars walk off stage as tensions escalated over an argument filmed months earlier in South Africa. Roberts noted that instead of reflection, the men remained stuck in the past, leading to 'yelling and unfortunate behaviour'.
