I'm A Celebrity Twist Splits Camp in Dramatic 'Rivals' Showdown
I'm A Celebrity camp split in dramatic 'rivals' twist

In a dramatic shake-up that has fractured camp dynamics, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! introduced a brutal new 'rivals' format during Wednesday's episode, forcing celebrities into head-to-head battles for survival.

The Gruelling Head-to-Head Challenges

The British public voted to determine the competitive pairings for a series of revolting Bushtucker Trials, with challenges involving pig brains, fish guts, and offal deciding which celebrities would enjoy luxury and who would be condemned to hardship.

Soap star Lisa Riley faced Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp in the first 'Face Off' round, where they had to retrieve stars from a box of slime and fish guts using only their mouths. Lisa dominated, securing both stars before Martin had even claimed his first.

Model Kelly Brook competed against Irish presenter Vogue Williams in 'Mind Games', a race to be first to eat a full pig's brain. Vogue emerged victorious, claiming her spot among the winners.

Comedian Eddie Kadi battled TV personality Jack Osbourne in 'Mouthing Off', where they raced to retrieve a star from a thread using only their mouths while covered in critters. Despite a neck-and-neck competition, Jack claimed the win.

From Snake Counting to Fish Eyes

Comedian Ruby Wax took on Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson in 'Snakey Behaviour', tasked with reaching into a box and counting snakes. Ruby correctly guessed four snakes, while Tom's guess of eight sealed his fate.

Sports broadcaster Alex Scott faced former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty in 'Eye to Eye', requiring them to squeeze juice from raw fish eyes into a shot glass using only their mouths. Alex downed her shot first, securing victory, though she immediately vomited into a nearby sick bucket.

The final pairing saw rapper Aitch and social media star Morgan Burtwistle (known as Angryginge) compete in 'Blood Bath', sitting in a tank of offal and racing to scoop it into a box. Despite Aitch wishing his "brother" the "best of luck," Ginge took the winning title.

The Great Divide: Win City vs Doomsville

The victorious campmates – Lisa Riley, Vogue Williams, Jack Osbourne, Ruby Wax, Alex Scott, and Angryginge – returned to a completely transformed main camp now called Win City. The area received a full purple makeover including a purple telephone box, comfortable beds, new camp clothes, towels, and plush log seating. Lisa declared their "purple palace is absolutely delightful!"

Meanwhile, the losers – Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Tom Read Wilson, Shona McGarty, and Aitch – were banished to Doomsville, greeted by one rock-hard bunk bed and grey groundsheets on the floor for bedding. Kelly described their new quarters as "bleak," while Martin lamented, "We are essentially doing time."

The emotional toll became evident as Tom Read Wilson broke down, telling his campmates, "I'm a wreck, sorry... I'm just a wreck today, I can't stop. I think I've opened the floodgates a bit."

Campmates were reminded they'll have the chance to face their rivals again in the coming days, ensuring the competition remains intense. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns on Thursday at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
