I'm A Celebrity 2025: Brutal Challenges Begin Before Jungle Entry
I'm A Celebrity 2025: Stars Face Brutal Early Challenges

The 2025 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here has launched with its signature brutality, throwing celebrities into intense challenges mere hours after their arrival in Australia, denying them any pre-jungle luxury.

Skydiving Start for First Celebrities

The first five celebrities to arrive – Kelly Brook, Aitch, Eddie Kadi, Shona McGarty, and Martin Kemp – were immediately thrust into the 'Sky's The Limit' challenge. They were instructed to skydive directly into their jungle experience, landing on a beach where hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were waiting.

The stakes were high from the outset. The celebrities competed to win a seat in the 'Getaway car,' promising the most direct route to camp. The victor would also be rewarded with a steak dinner and a comfortable bed, a rare luxury before the harsh jungle conditions. Aitch lightened the tense helicopter ride, joking about his proximity to co-star Kelly Brook.

Gruelling Tasks and Hidden Fears

The competition involved a physically demanding task. Contestants had to wade through offal and slime to find tools to unlock five bolts on a wall. Success would release a key fob for the coveted Getaway car. Martin Kemp revealed his personal motivation, stating his desire to outperform his son, Roman, who appeared on the show in 2019.

Meanwhile, a second group of stars, including Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, Angry Ginge, Alex Scott, and Jack Osbourne, were taken to a luxury villa under the false pretence of a calm start. Their 'Race Against Time' challenge, however, was designed to test their nerve in terrifying conditions.

Snakes and Ants Test Resilience

This challenge involved a brutal twist. Celebrities were required to put their hands into a box containing green ants to unscrew bolts, all while their heads were enclosed in a separate box. To maximise the fear factor, snakes were introduced into the head boxes, pushing the contestants' resilience to its limits as they fought for the two remaining seats in the Getaway car.

For the six remaining celebrities who did not win the initial challenges, the journey to camp began in the dreaded 'Cockie Van,' accompanied by the infamous Kiosk Kev, signalling the start of the proper jungle ordeal.

I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV1, STV, and ITVX on Sunday at 9pm, with I'm A Celebrity…Unpacked airing nightly after the main show on ITV2, STV, and ITVX.
