The jungle's most feared challenge kicked off in spectacular fashion as comedian Ruby Wax and social media star Angryginge confronted the first bushtucker trial of the new I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! series.
The Gruesome Challenge Begins
Under the watchful eyes of presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the pair faced 'The Divey' trial, which consisted of 10 rounds of jungle delicacies, each worth one star and a meal for their hungry campmates. The challenge took place on Monday 17 November 2025 and pushed both celebrities to their absolute limits.
Their culinary nightmare began with a dish ironically named Cryer Jama, inspired by Maya Jama. This platter contained five giant cockroaches and five mealworms, finished with a sprinkling of dehydrated critters. After powering through this initial horror, social media personality Angryginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, ominously remarked: "If that's the one we're starting with, we're in trouble."
A Menu of Horrors
Ruby Wax then tackled Grimothy Chalomet, a witchetty grub crowned with a cricket crouton, which she managed to consume despite obvious distress. The trial escalated dramatically as Burtwistle confronted several increasingly disgusting dishes.
He faced Margot Gobby, consisting of bull's tongue with a fish eye glaze, followed by The Slime-on Cowell - six snails in a beachworm reduction. The real struggle came with Russell Toe, a camel toe dish accompanied by cockroach-infused smoke that caused him to turn red and retch violently. "It's come back up in my mouth," he exclaimed during the ordeal.
The absolute lowest point for Burtwistle came with Benedict Bum-berbatch - a crocodile's anus. With eyes streaming and constantly reaching for the sick bucket, he barely managed to keep the revolting morsel down.
Meanwhile, Wax battled through her own set of horrors including Ronan Teeting, a cow's teet with duck tongue coulis, and Dame Spew-dy Dench, which featured three vomit fruits with vomit fruit jus. After consuming Hugh Sackman, a pig's testicle with fermented seaweed foam, she dryly commented: "I think I'm pregnant."
Jungle Victory and Emotional Moments
The trial concluded with Wax facing The Knob Beckett, a bull's penis complete with sparkler. Following instructions to eat just the tip, she secured their tenth and final star, delivering a perfect score that delighted their campmates.
In a separate challenge, model Kelly Brook and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp successfully tackled Dingo Balls, correctly answering that Spandau Ballet had more UK top 40 singles than Brook had movie appearances, winning chocolate for camp.
Elsewhere in the jungle, emotional moments unfolded as TV personality Jack Osbourne spoke to EastEnders actress Lisa Riley about the recent death of his father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. "It was definitely a shock," Osbourne shared, becoming tearful. "It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, all right, I'm done." He revealed his father had passed away nearly four months earlier and that he was "still navigating it all."
