I'm A Celebrity Drama: Burnt Rice & Contraband Scandal Rock Camp
I'm A Celeb: Burnt rice and butter scandal cause chaos

Sunday's episode of I'm A Celebrity delivered explosive drama as the reality show entered its third and final week, featuring kitchen disasters, secret butter scandals, and a dramatic leadership coup.

Breakfast Chaos and Burnt Rice Tensions

The morning began with Eddie Kadi nervously taking charge of breakfast rice duty, having been appointed by new camp leader Shona McGarty and deputy Lisa Riley. Eddie confessed to fellow campmate Tom Read Wilson about his anxiety, admitting: "I'm nervous because I live by myself. When you're cooking for you, there's no one to judge."

Things quickly went wrong when Eddie left the rice cooking to take a shower. Kelly Brook immediately detected the burning scent and told the Bush Telegraph: "He made the colossal error of putting the rice on and going for a shower. I watched him do it, I didn't wanna say anything because I can't get involved."

Further tension emerged as Ruby Wax whispered to AngryGinge about Vogue Williams' fire-tending skills, complaining: "She just destroyed it, she doesn't know what she's doing." When the charred rice was finally served, campmates were less than impressed, with Jack Osbourne joking: "It's Eddie's first race, so he's warming up to it."

Contraband Butter Scandal and Leadership Shake-up

The drama intensified when Shona entered camp looking guilty with an official laminate, pleading with her fellow celebrities: "Please don't hate me..." The laminate revealed that contraband had been discovered in camp - specifically butter that had been smuggled into the jungle.

As camp leader, Shona faced a difficult choice: either step down from her leadership role or sacrifice two stars from the day's trial as punishment. Coming clean about the butter, Shona explained: "I'm not responsible for it, but I used it." She later told the Bush Telegraph: "I don't know where it came from, but I saw it and my eyes lit up and I used it."

Shona chose to abdicate her leadership position, with Aitch dramatically throwing her large leaf crown into the fire. The camp then voted for a new leader, resulting in a landslide victory for Ruby Wax.

Ruby's Reign and Rebellion Brewing

Ruby immediately declared a new era, telling her campmates: "Things are about to change. No more Mrs Nice Guy!" She appointed Shona as her footstool, Aitch as her entertainer, and AngryGinge as her dancer.

Jack Osbourne reflected on the new leadership, commenting: "Ruby as leader, pure insanity. The craziest dictatorship I think the world will ever know."

Around the campfire later, rebellion began brewing as Aitch, Jack, and AngryGinge plotted against Ruby's regime. Ginge whispered: "We are making a stand versus them," while Aitch agreed: "I've got a lot of things on my chest that need to come off." Jack sealed their pact with the cry: "Viva la revolution!"

The celebrities later participated in the 'Blender Defenders' challenge, successfully winning ten out of eleven letters from home, with Jack being the only contestant not to receive his.

The episode followed Friday's elimination of former Lioness Alex Scott, who described her jungle experience as "mentally tough" but incredible, praising the bonds she'd formed with her campmates.
