Kelly Brook has revealed that US singer Lizzo was her 'worst' star interview, describing an awkward on-air encounter where the pop star reportedly ignored her. The 45-year-old, who is heading into the Australian jungle for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, shared the experience during a chat at the MITS awards.
Brook, who co-hosts Heart Drive with Jason King, said she expected a warm interaction given Lizzo's themes of female empowerment in songs like Truth Hurts. However, she claimed Lizzo did not remove her sunglasses or make eye contact with her. 'She didn't take her glasses off and she didn't look at me once. She just spoke to JK,' Brook said, adding that it felt like she 'didn't even exist'.
The model and presenter will be joined in the jungle by Martin Kemp, Jack Osbourne, and Ruby Wax. Her appearance marks a reunion with Ant and Dec, following her brief stint as a fourth judge on Britain's Got Talent in 2009. Brook previously alleged that the presenting duo had her removed from the show, though Dec later said there was 'no bad blood'.
A source told Metro that there is 'apprehension on both sides' about the reunion. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV on Sunday, November 16.
