Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan is making a major comeback to television, seven years after leaving the iconic ITV soap. The actress is reportedly set to appear on the upcoming series of Celebrity Ex On The Beach, a significant move to revitalise her screen career.
From Corrie to Reality TV: A New Chapter
The 35-year-old actress, who first found fame playing Rosie Webster on Coronation Street from 2000 until 2018, began filming her scenes for the MTV show this week. A source close to the production revealed to The Sun that Helen was 'so excited' to take part, describing her as a 'massive signing' for the channel.
The insider elaborated, stating, "Helen is sexy, feisty, and won’t hold back on the show and she wants to cause some fireworks." They emphasised that this show represents a significant opportunity for Flanagan, exposing her to a new audience who may not be familiar with her previous work in soaps.

This television venture comes during a period of personal change for Flanagan. She recently became single after her split from Robbie Talbot in May of this year.
